 The Holy Spirit will do anything for you, if you believe He will. Our biggest problem though is we do not know enough of Him. When you don’t know about something, whether it is in the natural, or the spirit world, you can’t put it to work for you. You must know how to operate the car, before you can drive it. The Holy Spirit is the same way. You must know what makes Him work, for you to receive anything from heaven.

How does the Holy Spirit work? He works by faith. How does faith work? By speaking and obeying God’s word. You see, no matter what you might feel like, or what your view of the situation is, doesn’t matter. The Holy Spirit does not know circumstances, all it knows is faith. Unlike you, the Holy Spirit never has one negative thought or feeling. It lives in total victory everyday, every week, every month, and every year. Because that is all it knows is the abundant life, that Jesus bought back for you and me.

We must know who we are in Christ, and confess it daily. Because how does faith come? It comes by hearing and hearing the word of God (Romans 10:17). We need to get the word in our mouth and into to our heart. When we get our faith built up, we can practice Mark 11:23 and know that it has already worked for us. We know we can say to our mountains to be removed and they are. We go by the substance of our faith (Hebrews 11:1), not the circumstances or how we feel. We know we possess it, we never doubt or waiver. We walk in total faith.

All we do is just give God the glory and thank Him that we have received by faith what we have asked. We may not see it in the natural. But, we just keep thanking Him, praising Him, and telling Him how wonderful He is to us. This really gets the Devil mad, he hates it. Why? Because it shows you are walking by faith. He doesn’t like it, when you go from the level he is at, to the higher one, which is God’s faith level.

It is the obedience of the word, which puts your faith into action. Obey the word, act upon it, and speak it. Don’t be nonchalant in your actions or words either. You must say it like you mean it and act like you have it. People should wonder what you’ve got because of how you act and talk. No matter what the situation presents, you act like it is written in your Bible. We need to be like the woman in II Kings 4:18-30. She kept confessing that everything was well with the child God had given her, even though the child had died. She did not go by the circumstances. She knew God had given her that child and that he was not meant to die there. So she just kept on confessing those things that be not, as though they were (Romans 4:17).

Don’t let an opportunity arise that you get into the flesh. When somebody asks you a question, don’t confess the circumstance! Confess what the word of God says over your life. Because it is the truth! The circumstance that is out of the will of God is nothing but a lie from the Devil! You need to know that!

We need to get the Devil out of our lives, family and possessions. We do this by worshipping our Lord and Saviour. We need to bow down to Him, get to know Him more everyday. So that He can grow on the inside of us, so that we are totally controlled by the Holy Spirit. Because when we are totally controlled by Him, we are walking in the way of the abundant life.

So know that you stand in the office of authority to speak and obey God’s word. The Holy Spirit has been sent to perform the Bible for you. But, you need to know that it is by your words and your obedience of God’s word that will put the Holy Spirit to work for you. There is no other way, so don’t waste your time, thinking you know best. Walk by faith!
