There are no ifs, ands, or buts about it, healing is yours! Do not let the devil take this wonderful blessing that Jesus provided when He went to the cross. Do you realise that Jesus actually dealt with the sickness issue, before He dealt with the sin issue?
Isaiah 53.5: 5But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
See, with His stripes, that was before He paid our penalty for sin. Healing has been given to you and it is for all that believe in Jesus as their Saviour. I am going to show you three reasons why, if you have ever wondered if you should be healed or not, that you have to be!
Reason #1: Sickness is the work of Satan!
Obviously we do not think God puts sickness on us and if we do that is just ludicrous. James 1.17 clearly states that every good gift and every perfect gift comes from the Father of lights, in whom there is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. And because every good gift comes from the Father, He cannot give bad gifts. Matthew 12.25 proves that something divided against itself cannot stand. So God could not give you healing and then give you a sickness, because it would diminish everything He is.
So we clearly see sickness comes from the Devil and only the Devil. And because we are now born again creatures we do not have to put up with his works anymore. Has or has not Jesus defeated Him already? So why do we let Satan put sickness on us? We undoubtedly see in Revelation 1.18 that Satan has been totally striped of his authority, because Jesus Himself says so:
Revelation 1.18: 18I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.
Reason #2: It is the same Holy Spirit at work now, which was given to Jesus without measure.
Understand that it was the Holy Spirit that healed all that were sick. Here is a question. How many people did Jesus heal before the Holy Spirit descended upon Him, when John baptised Him? None, right? He did not heal one person, before the Holy Spirit was given to Him without measure (John 3.34). Jesus was the one though who let the Holy Spirit flow through Him and allowed for them to be healed. That is why you can be healed today, if you want.
It is as simple as letting the Holy Spirit lead you into receiving the gift of healing that Jesus has already provided. That is why Romans 8.26 says this: 26Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
Reason #3: Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever.
Hebrews 13.8: 8Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and for ever. So did Jesus heal in the four Gospel’s? Did He heal everyone that came to Him in faith? Yes! He healed then, therefore He has to heal now. The Bible also tells us that He is no respecter on persons.
Acts 10.34 in the Amplified: 34And Peter opened his mouth and said: Most certainly and thoroughly I now perceive and understand that God shows no partiality and is no respecter of persons.
So healing as it was in the four Gospels is for you too. Make no mistake about it; God wants you to be healed. Satan and his work have been defeated. The Holy Spirit lives on the inside of you! So don’t wonder, because that is the exact thing that will keep you from receiving.
James 1.6-7:
6Only it must be in faith that he asks with no wavering (no hesitating, no doubting). For the one who wavers (hesitates, doubts) is like the billowing surge out at sea that is blown hither and thither and tossed by the wind.
7For truly, let not such a person imagine that he will receive anything [he asks for] from the Lord.
