 Matthew 24:27 KJV:

 ²⁷For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Whenever I see lightning light up the whole sky, making known what hides in the darkness I wonder, will this be the day my Lord and Saviour returns? And if this is the day that I am to meet Him in the clouds, have I fulfilled what He has called me to do? Will I be able to stand before the throne with total confidence and answer the question, what did you do with the talent I gave you?

And are you ready to answer this question if He were to come today? Are you using your time and effort towards the fulfillment of the destiny that God has put in your heart? Or are you just putting it off till tomorrow? Because know this, Jesus is quickly coming back. The things that Jesus said must come before the end are quickly being fulfilled.

There are things that were clearly stated by Jesus in Luke 21, Matthew 24 and by Daniel in Daniel 7.  Ask yourself; are these a reality in today’s world?

Luke 21: 9-11;20-28;31 KJV.

⁹But when ye shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified: for these things must first come to pass; but the end is not by and by.

   ¹⁰Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom:

   ¹¹And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.

²⁰And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.

²¹Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto.

   ²²For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.

   ²³But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people.

   ²⁴And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.

   ²⁵And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;

   ²⁶Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.

   ²⁷And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.

   ²⁸And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

³¹So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.

³And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

   ⁴And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.

   ⁵For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

   ⁶And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

   ⁷For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

   ⁸All these are the beginning of sorrows.

¹¹And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

   ¹²And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

   ¹³But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

   ¹⁴And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

   ¹⁵When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

 ²¹For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

   ²²And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.

   ²³Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.

   ²⁴For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

   ²⁵Behold, I have told you before.

   ²⁶Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.

³⁷But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

   ³⁸For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark,

   ³⁹And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

   ⁴⁰Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

   ⁴¹Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

   ⁴²Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.

   ⁴³But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.

Daniel 7:23-27 Holman Christian Standard Bible:

²³ “This is what he said: ‘The fourth beast will be a fourth kingdom on the earth, different from all the other kingdoms. It will devour the whole earth, trample it down, and crush it.

²⁴ The 10 horns are 10 kings who will rise from this kingdom. Another, different from the previous ones, will rise after them and subdue three kings.

²⁵ He will speak words against the Most High and oppress the holy ones of the Most High. He will intend to change religious festivals and laws, and the holy ones will be handed over to him for a time, times, and half a time.

²⁶ But the court will convene, and his dominion will be taken away, to be completely destroyed forever.

²⁷ The kingdom, dominion, and greatness of the kingdoms under all of heaven will be given to the people, the holy ones of the Most High. His kingdom will be an everlasting kingdom, and all rulers will serve and obey Him.’

All these things have happened or are happening. There are leaders in our world today that wish to change people to their religion by forcing it upon them. There are many wars and rumours of wars. There are many earthquakes, famines and pestilences. Jerusalem is being surrounded by many Countries, some even wishing to wipe them into oblivion. So when will those that sleep wake up? Because we are living in days much like Noah’s and we are the ones who are to be the voice crying out, telling the world about what is to come.

So are you ready? Are you fulfilling your call? If He were to come tonight, would you be okay with that? Would you be able to say, I fulfilled the cause that you made me for my Lord. And would He in return be able to say: Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over much, enter into My joy.
